标本采集：通常采用自然排出的粪便，无粪便排出而又必须检查时，可经肛门指诊或采便管拭取标本，灌肠或服油类泻剂的粪便常因过稀且可能有油滴等而不适于做检验标本。粪便检验应取新鲜的标本，不得混有水、尿液和其他成分，因此不能采集尿壶或便盆中的粪便，不得将月经血或其他部位如鼻、痔疮出血混入粪便标本中。要求采集足量的标本，至少应采集指头大小的粪便或稀便2mL，以供复查用或防止粪便迅速干燥。 \\
标本运送：标本采集后最好用有盖容器立即送检。送检过程中需防止出现标本溢漏情况，不得污染手、容器外壁和周围其他物品。
